Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior, 7 Month Contract

Requirements:

• A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in planning and performing quality control and testing activities

• 5+ yrs experience with writing and executing test scripts in a waterfall and agile environment.

• 5+ yrs experience in Functional, Smoke, Regression, UAT, E2E and other cross team testing.

• 5+ yrs expertise in using JIRA, Zephyr, and confluence or similar.

• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills

• Completion of a university degree or college diploma, preferably in computer science/engineering, information technology, business administration, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

• Knowledge of Transportation Operations terms and concepts is an asset

• Experience in writing Test Plan and Strategy is an asset.

• Experience in data analytics projects with data analysis and data verification is an asset

• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills is an asset

• Proven knowledge in SaaS, COTS application verification is an asset

• Ability to quickly ramp up an understanding of underlying technologies and infrastructure is an asset

• Strong focus on satisfying the needs of the customers is an asset

• Strong understanding of Agile and DevSecOps delivery models is an asset

• Knowledge of technology infrastructure and related projects i.e. Network setup, WiFi, Data Center, Disaster Recovery, and Monitoring systems is an asset.

• Experience in non-functional testing including performance testing, AODA testing, Security Testing, Usability Testing, and PCI compliance testing is an asset.

• Ability to generate summary and detailed test progress reports and share testing status is an asset.
